Have you ever felt like you wanted to get more involved in this community but you don’t know how to start?  We want to get you connected!  There are many ministries & causes in Bellflower that could use your help.

Ideas for Getting Involved

• Be on a planning team to plan a community event.  This year many of our city-sponsored events aren’t happening due to budget cuts.  This is a great opportunity for the community to step up and plan some events to fill the gap.  Contact us at blessbellflower@kingdomcauses.org if you’re interested.
• Invite your neighbor over for dinner.  Spend time outside of your home after work and chat it up.
• Attend Bellflower’s city-sponsored events like Streetfest, City Council Meetings, etc.
• Ask the church in your neighborhood if they need help with any projects for families
• Contact the Bellflower Volunteer Center at 562-925-9003 and ask for Cindy… she’s super nice.
• Visit a retirement center or convalescent home.  Listen to someone’s story.  Keep them company.
• Hang out with the homeless on Saturday 7am at Breakfast & Showers @ Calvary Baptist Church
• Eat at a local restaurant instead of heading out of town for dinner.  Our local places need your support!
